We’re very excited here at Spa Beautiful to launch our new Mediterranean Menu. Available daily from 14th September in our tea room, for those who want something lighter than a High Tea, our new menu features La Piadina which is yet to be discovered in the UK.
Low calorie but yummy, this light and toasted crispy wheat flour type of pancake is a secret recipe well-kept from generation to generation by an Italian family. Served with a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian fillings drizzled with basil sauce or caramelised balsamic sauce.

Buon appetito !
Sometimes after a much needed break you’re raring to go again, but more often than not, getting back into the swing of things after having had some time off can be a hard slog. Now they say that the best cure for the post holiday blues is to book your next holiday, or have something else to look forward too, so if you can’t quite afford your next trip just yet, then the obvious choice would be to book yourself your favourite treatment with us – and we have some great offers available for you during September.
However, if you need something to keep you going, or a little push to help you to reassess your goals and get yourself back on track, take a look at this great video with motivational quotes from Jim Carey – we think you’ll like it.
If you’re not going abroad this year for your summer holidays, then fear not, we have the perfect treatments that will whisk you away to somewhere exotic and leaving you feeling like you’ve had a week away!
A totally luxurious facial packed with fresh ingredients and vitamin boosters that will leave the skin, body and mind smoothed and soothed. Following a deep cleanse, your skin is softened and tenderised with our unique Temple Spa marinade, lymph draining and tranquil face massage.
Using steam and exfoliating mitts, along with our Keep Calm Aromatherapy Cleansing Bar, your body will be lathered and exfoliated. Followed with a hot, steam towel removal and blissful, warm Drift Away Oil massage, you will feel soft, smooth and totally relaxed. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be rubbed, scrubbed and lathered-up Turkish style, this is the one for you.
Now you can ‘prepare to bare’ with this fabulous treatment that will imitate a few days in the sun and give you a beautiful golden glow, safely of course. We will prepare you face and body with a double exfoliation and luscious envelopment of hydration, followed by a skilful application of Temple Spa Sol Mate. A mini vacation indeed.
The Mediterranean Float
Packed with delicious ingredients, this double deluxe all over treatment will leave you looking and feeling like you’ve taken a mini vacation. Your mind will escape as your body is polished and nourished with the iconic Mediterranean body scrub, prior to being cocooned in an aromatic infusion to soften and hydrate. Your rejuvenating facial contains our unique Mediterranean marinade. The results…? A totally smoothed and soothed skin, head to toe.
We work hard all year for our one or two week holiday, so to make sure that you can just jet off with ease, here is a round up of the things we feel are essential for the perfect trip:
We’re not talking full on emergency room equipment here, just your normal medication, and some basic pills for headaches, upset tummies and allergies. It’s always far easier to get hold of these things here at home rather than abroad where some medicines are only available by prescription.
- Pop Some Clothes in Your Hand Luggage
Hopefully they won’t be needed, but if your baggage goes AWOL then at least you will have a spare outfit, some underwear and your toothbrush with you to tide you over until you are reunited with your case. If you are travelling as a family, it’s also wise to divide up everyone’s clothes between your luggage, so again if the unthinkable happens, you can all still enjoy your holiday.
- Check if Towels are Provided
Towels always take up so much space in your luggage, so check ahead to see if towels are provided at your accommodation. This is will then free you up with some space to bring back your holiday bargains. If you do have to take a towel, take one of the compact micro fibre sports towels.
We believe that rolling your clothes is still the most effective way to pack, not only does it help to reduce the amount of creasing, but it also means that you can pack more in your case.
Don’t forget that there are still restrictions on the volume of liquids that you can take with you in your hand luggage, so if you are traveling light to beat the queues at baggage reclaim, then all liquids carried in hand luggage must be no more than 100 ml per item, and must fit into one small and resealable transparent bag.
While it’s tempting to pack all your tech, all you really need is an adaptor (depending on where you’re headed), your smart phone to keep you connected, your kindle or e-reader, and a power bank to keep you charged on the go. Again, check ahead with your accommodation to see whether hairdryers are provided to save you packing bulky items that you may not be able to use anyway.
